The residential centreprovides education combined with agro-based vocational training for adult male beneficiaries with speech and hearing impairment, mild intellectual disabilities, visual impairment and other disabilities. Agriculture-based vocational activities not only develop employable skills but also encourage self-sufficiency and community participation. Participants engage in practical learning experiences that combine occupational therapy with income-generating opportunities. Like every other initiative of the Academy, education, accommodation, vocational training and rehabilitation services at TRDC are provided entirely free of cost, reflecting the institution’s unwavering commitment to equal opportunity.

Meanwhile, the Jakkasandra Training and Rehabilitation Development Centre provides residential education and vocational programmes for adult males with various disabilities, offering pathways towards productive employment and self-reliance.
